Avengers 5 & 6 finally confirmed: The next Marvel saga promises big things

Don't miss

It’s now confirmed: Avengers 5 and 6 have officially been given launch dates and titles. Marvel boss Feige also unveiled the MCU’s new saga.

When is the next Avengers movie finally coming? That’s what numerous fans have been asking since the dramatic ending of 2019’s Endgame, and tonight at Comic-Con in San Diego, the answer was given. On the stage of Hall H, Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige not only presented the plans for Phase 5 of the MCU, but also revealed the titles and dates for the next Avengers event in Phase 6.

Avengers 5 & 6 are coming, and here’s what the movies are called

In 2025, the biggest event of the Marvel Cinematic Universe to date could be upon us. That’s because two Avengers movies are launching this year:

The first is Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. The 5th Avengers movie hits theaters on May 2, 2025. The title alludes to Kang the Conqueror, who we met played by Jonathan Majors in Loki.

The 6th Avengers movie starts a few months later: Avengers: Secret Wars hits theaters on November 7, 2025.

With this, the MCU turns to one of the biggest events in Marvel’s comic book history, the Secret Wars.

Marvel says opens Multiverse saga

Kevin Feige didn’t leave it at that, though. He also revealed what the new era will be called after Infinity Saga. The MCU is now telling the so-called Multiverse Saga, which is hardly surprising after Loki, Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange 2. Just as the Infinity Stones are seen as the connecting element between the first three phases of the MCU, the multiverse is the common thread for phases 4, 5 and 6. At least that’s what the title promises.
