Mangaka Atsushi Ōkubo, creator of the action series “Fire Force,” revealed in his “Dark Souls” livestream on December 31, 2021, that his story will end in a few chapters. Ōkubo also stated that he has two more chapters to draw and that his series will receive about two more volumes, which would conclude the manga with volume 34.
Fire Force: Manga and anime available
“Fire Force” (jap.: “En’en no Shōbōtai”) has been published in “Shūkan Shōnen Jump” magazine since September 2015. Kōdansha published 32 volumes in Japanese stores so far. The official Fire Force Twitter account has confirmed that Fire Force Season 3 TV anime is in production. The 26th volume was last published in December 2021. Volume 27 will be published in February 2022.
The manga series by Ōkubo has already received a 48-part anime adaptation. The adaptation was directed by Yūki Yase (season 1) Tatsuma Minamikawa (season 2) at Studio David Production (“JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure”). With English language version, the series is available on DVD and Blu-ray.
