At the beginning of January, we already reported that the action series “Fire Force” (jap.: “En’en no Shōbōtai”) by Atsushi Ōkubo will end in a few chapters. Now it has been announced that the story will conclude with the next three chapters.
Fire Force: Manga and anime available
“Fire Force” has been published in “Shūkan Shōnen Jump” magazine since September 2015. Kōdansha has published 32 volumes to date. . The 26th volume was last published in December 2021. Volume 27 will continue on February 9, 2022.
Update: The Fire Force manga’s ending has finally come out in February 2022. But what shocked some fans is that Fire Force Chapter 304 was a direct Soul Eater prequel since it directly states, “Next is Soul World”.
Ōkubo’s manga series has already received a 48-part anime adaptation. The adaptation was directed by Yūki Yase (season 1) and Tatsuma Minamikawa (season 2) at Studio David Production (“JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure”). The official Fire Force Twitter account has confirmed that Fire Force Season 3 TV anime is in production.
