The mystery drama of Netflix Riverdale has finally come to an end. The series wrapped its seventh and final season yesterday and look like the show will be last aired by August end. The show based on popular Archies comics got a lot of attention from fans who like and disliked the show at the same time. The cast of the show posted on their social media handle announcing their show coming to an end and a marvelous journey they had been in.
What next in Riverdale Season 7?
The show features Madelaine Petsch, Lili Reinhart, Cole Sprouse and Camila Mendes, the main lead of the shows will be seen in the final season of Riverdale. The story features in 2017 had got a lot of mixed reactions and will have a blast in season 7.
In this week’s episode The Crucible, we will see that someone familiar comes back from the town, Hiram Lodge, Veronica’s father. His reason for the return is kept hidden for now but what we know so far is that Veronica bought the Babylonium movie theater right under his nose and is unlikely for him to take it well. The episode will also feature the crew getting a panic attack when their teacher is accused of being a communist and is placed into a tough situation.
Next week, July 5, Riverdale will air the musicals for the last time and will feature all the original songs. The final episode is said to be aired on August 23.
Fans being bitterly happy with the show ending- ‘Should have wrapped in season 2‘
Ever since the news of Riverdale wrapping up came out, fans got very happy with the show’s ending. It may not be a happy one but mostly are sarcastic about the show’s poor performance in the audience’s eyes. A person wrote- ‘It should’ve been wrapped up after season 2, I’m screaming didn’t know it lasted that long’. Another said-‘Idc if this was the last show on earth…I will NEVER bring myself to watch this; later another tweeted-‘THANK GOD’. A fan wrote-‘omg this show is still going?’.
