Dropkick on My Devil! X Anime
The anime will premiere on Japanese television on July 5, 2022. A crowdfunding campaign for the realization of the third series season was launched on September 30, 2020. The donation target of 20 million yen was reached after only 33 hours. The title of the third season was chosen by a donor who contributed about 1.1 million yen to the project.
“Dropkick on My Devil!” was directed by Hikaru Satou (Kitakubu Katsudou Kiroku) at the animation studio NOMAD. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (B-gata H-kei) and Momoko Murakami (Mahou Shoujo Nante Mou Ii Desukara.) were responsible for the scripts, while Makoto Koga (Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan) took care of the character designs. Yuuki Kurihara and Yuzuru Jinma provided the musical accompaniment.
Manga has been published since 2012
Mangaka Yukiwo started the series in April 2012 in the “Comic Meteor” magazine. In Japan, the series has so far comprised 19 volumes. In this country, the manga is not yet available. The story has already inspired two previous anime adaptations, which are available in Germany on Prime Video and Crunchyroll.
