Akira Fudou joins forces with Ryou Asuka, his childhood best friend, to uncover devils, leading them to an event called ‘Sabbath’, which is an orgy of darkness. As demons possess partygoers, chaos erupts. Akira merges with devil Amon, becoming a Devilman.
However, this union awakens an unrestrained aspect of Akira. With the body of a devil but a compassionate heart, he and Ryou strive to eliminate the demons which are a threat to their loved ones and mankind.
