On the official Twitter account of the anime series “Demon Slayer” (jap.: “Kimetsu no Yaiba”) it was announced that the third season will be shown on Japanese TV from April 9, 2023. You can watch a new trailer for it further down in this article.
Demon Slayer Season 3 Release Date and News
The third season adapts the “Swordsmith Village” arc and is directed by Haruo Sotozaki and produced by studio ufotable. Akira Matsushima is once again responsible for character design, while Yuki Kajiura is once again composing the musical score.
The first episode, which is expected to have a running time of 60 minutes (including commercials), will be shown in advance as part of a compilation film, which will also include the finale of the second season, starting on March 7, 2023 with German or English subtitles and optionally in English in various cinemas in Germany and Austria.
The original manga series was penned by Koyoharu Gotouge and published in Weekly Shounen Jump magazine from February 2016 to May 2020.
