BTS’s Jungkook’s “Dreamers” Dominates International Music Charts

BTS member Jungkook‘s “Dreamers,” released on November 20, 2022, has received a huge response from fans around the world. The track topped the iTunes “Top Song” chart in at least 102 countries upon its release and ranked second on Spotify’s “Daily Global Top Song” chart. “Dreamers” also reached the number one spot on Spotify’s “Top Song Debut Global” chart and has been on the Billboard Japan “Hot 100” chart for three consecutive weeks.

In addition, “Dreamers” maintained the top spot on YouTube Music’s “Global Top Song Chart” for four weeks in a row and on domestic music site Melon’s “TOP100” chart. It also returned to the top 5 spots on the chart. According to Billboard, “Dreamers” has also been on the “World Digital Song Sales” chart for three consecutive weeks and reached the number one spot on the “World Digital Song Sales” and “Digital Song Sales” charts in its first week of release. The track has also remained popular on Billboard’s “Global 200” and “Global (excluding the US)” charts.

Jungkook’s performance of “Dreamers” at the FIFA World Cup opening ceremony 2022 and the music video for the track have both received widespread praise from fans and music lovers. Jungkook has even received a shoutout from the Crown Prince of Jordan, Hussein Bin Abdullah.

Within 13 hours of its release on the iTunes global music platform, “Dreamers” reached the top spot on the iTunes Top Songs chart in 102 countries on the first day, 103 countries in two days, and 104 countries in four days. The song also ranked number one on the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart and the European iTunes Song Chart for six consecutive days.

It is clear that “Dreamers” has had a major impact on international music charts and has continued to be a fan favorite.
