‘Berserk Season 3’ is the highly anticipated sequel of one of the best animes out there. The anime is based on the Japanese manga series written and illustrated by the late Kentaro Miura. More than 50 million copies of the manga have been sold, making it one of the best works in manga history.
Set in medieval Europe, the anime was a sequel to the Golden Age Arc film trilogy. It follows the life of Guts, who is a mercenary, also known as ‘The Black Swordsman’. Things changed dramatically for him after joining the mercenary group, known as ‘Band of the Hawk’, led by Griffith. Berserk is based on a similar genre of anime like ‘Goblin Slayer’.

Berserk Season 3: Release Date

Berserk’s manga artist, Kentaro Miura sadly passed away in 2021, bringing the production of the anime series to a halt. Kentaro’s friends, and fellow manga artists, Hakusensha and Kouji Mori announced that Berserk would continue publication.
No official release date is out for Berserk Season 3, and the anime is yet to be confirmed. Berserk is arguably, one of the best dark animes out there, and fans are hoping that it returns. It’s been more than 5 years since Season 2 of Berserk premiered.
We could expect Berserk Season 3 by late 2024 or 2025.
What to expect in Berserk Season 3?
The second season of Berserk covered the first half of the Hawk of the Millennium Empire Arc. Berserk Season 3 is likely to continue and adapt from chapter 250 onwards from the manga. No official plot or synopsis for the anime is out yet, and with Season 3 yet to be confirmed, things remain unclear as of now.

Guts joins the ‘Band of the Hawk’, a mercenary group led by Griffith. One day, Griffith decides to sacrifice his followers to become one of the Hand of God. Only Guts and his lover, Casca, manage to escape the ‘Eclipse’ ritual. However, Casca loses her sanity, and they both are branded with marks that attract evil spirits and other entities.
Guts is off on a mission to hunt down the God Hand’s 12 Apostles to find and kill Griffith. After years, Griffith finally returns, but he’s no longer a human.
