After Endgame, Avengers 5 will be the starting signal for the most massive MCU event yet. Here you can find out all the information such as cast, story, release and more.
At the Comic-Con in San Diego 2022 MCU boss Kevin Feige revealed two new Avengers films, which are to continue the previous climax from Avengers 3: Infinity War and Avengers 4: Endgame.
The first is Avengers 5: The Kang Dynasty, which is scheduled for release in 2025. Until the theatrical release, we provide you with the most important information about the Marvel blockbuster such as release, plot, cast and more. New information will be added and updated regularly.
Avengers 5 Release Date: When is the theatrical release of Avengers 5: The Kang Dynasty?
After a date shift, Avengers 5 is scheduled to hit theaters on May 1, 2026. Avengers 6 has been postponed to May 7, 2027.
When is the first trailer for Avengers 5: The Kang Dynasty coming?
Marvel fans will have to wait quite a while for the first preview of Avengers 5. We certainly won’t get to see footage from the MCU blockbuster before 2024.
Avengers 5 Story: What is the plot of Avengers 5: The Kang Dynasty?
In the 16-volume comic book for The Kang Dynasty, the story is that Kang the Conqueror arrives from the future and wants to conquer Earth. The Avengers, of course, want to prevent this.
After Thanos, Kang becomes the new main villain in the MCU. We already got to see a variant of him in the Loki series and in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania in the form of Jonathan Majors. Unlike Thanos, countless versions of Kang exist at once in the MCU multiverse. The fight of the new Avengers team should then be against many different Kang variants.
Avengers 5 Cast & Crew: Who is part of the cast of Avengers 5: The Kang Dynasty?
So far, all that is known is that Shang Chi director Destin Daniel Cretton will direct Avengers 5. Who will be part of the cast of the Marvel movie or who will make up the new Avengers team after Endgame has not been revealed yet.
It’s quite possible that Marvel will assemble the team from characters introduced so far in Phase 4, such as Shang-Chi (Simu Liu) and the Eternals, as well as familiar characters like Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) and Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) as the new Captain America.
But then there are theories that keep popping up about a Young Avengers team that could consist of Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld), Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton), America Chavez (Xochitl Gomez) and Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani), among others.
