Ahsoka the animation version had an incredible journey through the Star Wars universe and is a truly heartwarming story. Voiced by the talented Ashley Eckstein, she was originally introduced as Anakin Skywalker’s feisty Padawan pupil in the critically acclaimed theatrical film Star Wars: The Clone Wars. However, in the first five seasons of her subsequent anime series, Ahsoka’s character has captured the hearts of viewers and has grown into a strong and believable Jedi trainee who has gained a loyal following.
Fans were disappointed when the Clone Wars abruptly ended, leaving Ahsoka’s story unsolved as she made the difficult decision to exile herself from the Jedi Order. But with the live-action series coming on Disney+, fans are going to get a lot of fun. The cast in the series looks very promising and can’t wait for the series to be aired.

Rosario Dawson plays Ahsoka Tano
Ahsoka is a former Jedi who became one of the main characters in Star Wars: The Clone Wars as Anakin’s young apprentice. She later became the commander of the Republic Army but left the Jedi Order when her fellow Jedi reprimanded him for bombing the temple. Dawson has a long history with Star Wars, appearing in The Clone Wars, The Mandalorian, and The Boba Fett Book. She has also appeared in many films since his debut in 1995’s Children.
Natasha Liu Bordizzo plays Sabine Wren
Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren in Ahsoka. Sabine Wren is a rebel of Mandalore, and she wants to join the fight against the Empire and free her people. She discovers the Darksaber and eventually gives it to Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff), and this is tracked in Seasons 2 and 3 of The Mandalorian. Bordizzo is also known for her role as Snow White in the Netflix series Crouching Tiger and Helena in the Netflix science fiction series The Society.
Hayden Christensen plays Anakin Skywalker
Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker in “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. One of the most iconic characters in Star Wars history, Anakin was a former Jedi knight who turned to the dark side to create his alter ego, Darth Vader. Ahsoka explores a relationship with his former apprentice Ahsoka Tano. Christensen has appeared in various Star Wars movies and TV shows, most recently in Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Eman Esfandi plays Ezra Bridger
Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger in Ahsoka. A favorite with Rebel fans, Ezra is a street urchin who joined the Ghost crew before being trained in the arts of the Jedi by Kanan Jarrus. Ezra and Ghost’s crew also join the Rebel Alliance to liberate the galaxy. Most notably, Ezra sacrificed himself to overthrow Grand Admiral Thrawn, and the two disappeared into an unknown region of the galaxy.
Lars Mikkelsen plays Grand Admiral Thrawn
Lars Mikkelsen plays Grand Admiral Thrawn in Ahsoka. The rogue Thrawn is the leader of the Imperial forces, leading the remnants of the post-apocalyptic Galactic Empire. He was force-sent into an unknown region of the galaxy by Ezra Bridger, but his influence can still be felt. Mikkelsen, who played Grand Admiral Thrawn in Rebels, will return to play Ahsoka.
Mary Elizabeth Winstead plays Hera Syndulla
Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hela in Disney’s Ahsoka. Hera was an accomplished pilot and was a key figure in the early rebellion against the Empire. With Ezra as her Padawan, she leads the crew aboard the Ghost. When the Alliance was reorganized into the New Republic, she became one of its chief military leaders.
Ivanna Sakhno plays Shin Hati
Ivanna Sahno plays Shin Hati in Ahsoka. Not much is known about Shin Hati, other than that she is a disciple of Balan Skoll. She is known for her roles in Pacific Rim Uprising and The Spy Who Threw Me Away, and also starred in her first Ukrainian-language sitcom Lesia Roma.
David Tennant voices Huyang
In Ahsoka, Huyan is voiced by David Tennant. Huyan is a droid professor who has taught Jedi youths for a thousand generations. Best known for playing the 10th Doctor on Doctor Who, will return to play the 14th Doctor later this year. He is also known for appearing in movies such as Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and Casanova, as well as television series such as Broadchurch and Staged.
