An interesting turn of events took place in the latest episode of Secret Invasion. Cull Obsidian from Thor and Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy were seen in Secret Invasion; well not literary but powers and actions seems to be doing the talking. The Avenger spinoff where Nick Fury tries to protect the planet inhabitant by Skrulls are seemingly advanced than the human. Their leader Gravik surprised the audience with his superhuman ability.
Skrulls hybrid with human DNA
As the episode starts, Gravik has been doing some experiments with the DNA and is mutated into a superhuman. G’iah has secretly entered the lab that Gravik has kept hidden and has sneaked into the files which are kept away from the government. The first file that pops up is Groot’s.
As seen in Vision his parts were recovered similarly, some of the pieces of Groot were recovered and turned into some lab experiments. As seen in the scene, Gravik will incorporate Groot’s abilities to stretch out branches and disseminating others to start a war in Secret Invasion.
Another file name shows Forest Beast. As the beast saw Thor: The Dark who escaped to Earth due to chaos and convergence, his specimen is alsofound in the lab. With this, it will provide the Skrulls cryokinesis like the Frost Beast for invisibility.
Cull Obsidian who was seen in Infinity War, whose arm was cut off by Wong and was killed by Hulk. His arm will help Gravik to replace the Skrull’s DNA mechanism and build super-strength and durability. The Ex-Extremis soldier DNA could bring a Human Torch from Fantastic Four and Skrulls can get the regenerated powers.
Will G’iah use the powers for her own?
Now that she has got on hold of the files, will she transform herself into one? It is rumored that she might turn herself into an Abigail Brand from the comics. She will have powers like tactile pyrokinesis, which makes her hands as hot as the sun that can easily melt through metals.
