The Witcher Season 4 Delayed by a Year
There has been a slight change in the production in season 4. The original production for season 4 was supposed to be in 2023 September and 2024 mid but looks like that will not be the case. The filming of the series is not started yet. The exact reason for the delay is not known but since many series have been delayed due to the SAG-AFTRA strikes, this could be one of the reasons.

Sharlto Copley, a South African actor, has been chosen to join The Witcher franchise. Andrew Laws began: “It’s a very exciting season. Liam’s been down to the studio, we’ve walked him through preliminary concept ideas for things. He’s very excited. He’s super enthusiastic. I think it’s gonna be a really great evolution for the show. I’ve met Liam briefly and he is six foot four and another beautiful specimen for a costume designer to showcase, so I’m very lucky. Laws teased more about the upcoming fourth season: “The big thing I can share is that in season four our world grows even more. So we begin to explore new parts of the Continent that will be familiar to the fans, but that we haven’t yet seen in our series. We’re exploring different location opportunities, both in the UK and outside the UK for different parts of the stories. We do know what our season is at this point.
