It’s official: The police candidate series “The Rookie” is getting a 5th season from US broadcaster ABC. The series makers announced this via Twitter at the end of March. Below is what is known about the sequel.
The Rookie Season 5: Launch
There is no start date for “The Rookie” Season 5 yet. Based on the previous seasons, we can probably expect the new episodes on US broadcaster ABC in autumn 2022 .
The Rookie Season 5: Storyline
What exactly Season 5 will be about is not yet known. It seems certain that John Nolan and his colleagues will again expect many dramatic, sometimes life-threatening operations. In order to tell anything about the plot of season 5 we have to wait for the season 4 finale, which will air on April 10, 2022 in the US.

At the moment it can be assumed that in Season 5 we will also see Nathan Fillion (” Castle “) as John Nolan, Alyssa Diaz (” Narcos Mexico “) as Angela Lopez, Richard T.
