‘The Continental: From the World of John Wick’ is an upcoming American crime drama miniseries that is directed by Albert Hughes and Charlotte Brandstorm. The series which will be a prequel and spin-off to the John Wick franchise is being developed by Greg Coolidge, Kirk Ward, and Shawn Simmons.

Peacock has obtained the exclusive streaming rights for the miniseries. The Continental will be available on Peacock on September 22, 2023, in the United States. Another spinoff from the franchise titled ‘Ballerina’ is all set to release in 2024. The franchise has grossed more than $1 billion worldwide.
What to expect in The Continental?
The Continental: From the World of John Wick tells the background story of how Winston Scott, came to the position of becoming the owner of ‘The Continental’ chain of hotels in New York City.
The chain of hotels acts as a haven for assassins because no business takes place. By business, they mean killing or any act of violence. The series is said to explore many of the real-world events of the time, like ‘Winter of Discontent’ and the American Mafia’s rise to power.
The main protagonist of the story will be a young Winston Scott and is set in New York City, during the 1970’s. Fans who have watched the trilogy already know who Winston is, so we expect his rise to the position in the miniseries.
