It was already shown to the visitors of the Star Wars Celebration, now it’s finally online on Star Wars official youtube channel. The trailer for season 3 of “The Mandalorian” takes Din Djarin and Grogu aka Baby Yoda to the legendary planet Mandalore.
After the trailer of “The Mandalorian season 3” was already shown at the Star Wars Celebration at the end of May and it also already illegally landed on the net, it was finally officially released by Disney during Disney’s D23 trade show. Of course, there is a reunion with the title character Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his protégé Grogu, but also the weapon master (Emily Swallow) and Bo-Katan (Katee Sackhoff) are prominently represented in it.
However, the exact start date is still not known. So it is still only said that season 3 of “The Mandalorian” will appear sometime in 2023 on Disney+. Rumors have been circulating for some time that February could be that time.
This is What The Mandalorian Season 3 is About
Din Djarin has broken his Mandalorian oath and removed his helmet multiple times in front of others. To restore his reputation and status as a Mandalorian, he has only one chance. He must go to a sacred spring below the mines of the devastated planet Mandalores. Only there can he wash himself clean of his sins. No sooner said than done, Din sets off for the Mandalorians’ home planet. Of course, Grogu is also there, whom he gave into Luke Skywalker’s care at the end of season 2, but only brought back to him a short time later in “The Book of Boba Fett”.
A major role in “The Mandalorian” Season 3 will also be played by Bo-Katan, who has so far appeared more as a guest character. After all, she is after the Darksaber, which is in Mando’s possession. We can also expect a reunion with the usual “Mandalorian” suspects, such as mechanic Peli Motto (Amy Sedaris) and Greef Karga (Carl Weathers).
Before “The Mandalorian” Comes “Andor”
Before we get to see Season 3, however, another “Star Wars” series awaits us on Disney+ that has the potential to even surpass “The Mandalorian.” “Andor” starts with the first three episodes on September 21, 2022.
