Season 5 of “Solar Opposites” confirmed
Fans of the alien animation series can rejoice! Season 5 of “Solar Opposites” has been ordered, as reported by Deadline, among others. At the New York Comic Con in October 2022, the series creators made the continuation public.
As previously with Season 3, this means the sequel was ordered early, before the fourth season of “Solar Opposites” appeared in the stream. Hulu, where the animated series is aired in the U.S., apparently relied on the loyal fan base, as it did after the success of season 2, and dared to make the sequel official. While the new episodes from season 4 already started in April 2023 in the U.S., there will also soon be supplies in this country: season 4 of “Solar Opposites” starts in Germany on November 1, 2023 on Disney+ in the stream. When will Solar Opposites season 5 start?
So far, there is no exact start date for the fifth season of “Solar Opposites”. Since the new episodes have already been announced early and season 4 will start soon, season 5 of “Solar Opposites” could possibly come as early as 2024. Like the previous seasons, this one will be released in this country with some delay to the US launch, most likely again in the streaming subscription of Disney+. Season 5 is said to already be in production. Due to the ongoing Hollywood strikes, this is currently paused, but season 5 of “Solar Opposites” should not be affected too much, according to ScreenRant. So, with a little luck, not too much time will pass between the start of seasons 4 and 5.
