After much sweat and search DC co-chairs have finally found their Clark Kent and Lios Lane. The search has finally stopped and Rachel Brosnahan has been found the perfect match to play the lead. As the lead actress is finalized, the superhero is also selected and is none other than David Corenswet. James Gunn’s new venture into Superman Legacy is about to begin.
Audition and Casting for Superman Legacy
It took almost a month for them to select the main leads. Sources say that many actors and actresses who were called for the audition were auditioned in full makeup and costume. Since the Writer’s strike prevailed from 30 June things had to be cleared before anything happens. As the San Diego Comic-Con is about to happen and it’s a little unsure whether Rachel Brosnahan and David Corenswet will be presented due to the strict guidelines of the strike.
Now as the search for Lois and Kent is over, Gunn is phasing towards the other cast members like the arch-enemy of Superman, Lex Luthor, and his friend Jimmy Olsen. The movie is said to be released by 2025, July 25.
Apart from Superman Rachel Brosnahan is in the process of the final season of Amazon’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, which earned her an Emmy and got her career to new heights. The project was announced a year from now and Gunn and Safran are phasing towards Superman: Legacy being the center of the project. The plans also include the new Batman: The Brave and the Bold, which will be directed by Andy Muschietti and The Authority.
