It is Special Agent Maya Miller (Jessica Frances Dukes). Season 4 Part 1 seemed to hint at Miller’s death several times. During the finale of Part 1, Miller has Navarro arrested behind the back of her superiors and against the wishes of the cartel leader.
During the airing of news of the arrest, Agent Miller’s mother anxiously asks her daughter, “What did you do?” Miller’s mother is also nervous when Wendy Byrde (Laura Linney) offers her daughter to work with Navarro in episode 3 of season 4. Miller also gets scared to death when the cartel takes her alone to a meeting with Navarro, reports U.S. magazine Screenrant.
Navarro knows about Miller’s betrayal. And also his nephew Javi, he made a deal with the FBI, will probably have it in for Miller. Thus, there is a lot to be said for the character’s death in Part 2 of Season 4.
