After the success of video games such as Uncharted, they were adapted into the live-action movie Gran Turismo which is an upcoming American biographical, sports drama film which is directed by Neill Blomkamp and screenplay written by Jason Hall and Zach Baylin. The film is produced by Columbia Pictures and 2.0 Entertainment. The lead cast is David Harbour, Archie Madekwe, Orlando Bloom, Richard Cambridge, and others in major roles.

The latest poster also mentioned the release date of the film which is August 11, 2023, in theatres worldwide, and also release in other languages. In the poster, it is also mentioned that it’s based on the real story of Jann Mardenborough who became a racing driver in 2014 and became the youngest winner of the GT Academy competition.

As per Collider, the cast of Gran Turismo along with Archie Madekwe, Stranger Things frame actor David Harbour who will train Jann Mardenborough in the film, Djimon Hounsou will be seen as Jann’s father, Djimon was previously seen in Shazam 2 and Orlando Bloom will be seen as Danny Moore, his character based on GT Academy founder Darren Cox.
