‘Castlevania: Nocturne’ is an upcoming American animated fantasy series created and written by Clive Bradley. The series is based on the video game series of the same name by Konami and is adapted from the series ‘Castlevania: Rondo of Blood’. The spinoff series is being directed by Sam Deats. It is based on a similar genre of shows like ‘FLCL: Grunge’.

An official release date has been confirmed and Castlevania: Nocturne is all set to release on September 28, 2023, exclusively on Netflix. Kevin Kolde and Clive Bradley are the show-runners for the series. In June 2022, Netflix announced the show during their Geeked Week Virtual Event.
What to Expect in Castlevania: Nocturne?
Castlevania is about Dracula and has an eerie gothic horror theme to it. It is largely set in the castle of Count Dracula, the main target of the Belmont clan of Vampire Hunters. In Castlevania: Nocturne, we will see Richter Belmont, a descendant of the Belmont Clan, who joins forces with an unlikely crew, to stop Count Dracula’s apocalyptic plans during the French Revolution.
