The second part of season 5 will return in summer 2023, with six more episodes to wrap up the story.

However, the trailer does not contain any new footage, as the filming for the second half has not started yet. The cast of Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2 will include most of the familiar faces from the previous seasons. Kevin Costner will return as John Dutton, the ranching family’s patriarch and Montana’s governor. Kelly Reilly will reprise her role as Beth Dutton, John’s fierce and loyal daughter. Smith as Lloyd Pierce, a senior ranch hand; Denim Richards as Colby Dunn, a ranch hand who is dating Teeter; Jennifer Landon as Teeter, a female ranch hand; Hassie Harrison as Laramie, a barrel racer who is dating Walker; Ryan Bingham as Walker, a former ranch hand who is now a singer; Piper Perabo as Summer Higgins, an activist who is involved with John; Dawn Olivieri as Sarah Atwood, a lawyer who is working with Market Equities and sleeping with Jamie; Finn Little as Carter Morrissey, a troubled teenager who Beth and Rip take in; and Q’orianka Kilcher as Angela Blue Thunder, Rainwater’s advisor.

However, there are also some rumors that Kevin Costner might leave the show after Season 5, which could mean that this season might be the last one for Yellowstone. According to Deadline, Costner is in talks to exit the series due to his busy schedule and other projects. There is also a possibility that Yellowstone might continue with a spin-off or a franchise extension starring Matthew McConaughey. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but fans should brace themselves for some major changes in the future of Yellowstone.

Yellowstone: Season 5 Part 2 Plot

The second part of season 5 will continue the saga of the Duttons, who are facing various threats and challenges from their enemies, rivals, and even their own family members. John Dutton (Kevin Costner), the patriarch and newly elected governor of Montana, will have to deal with his impeachment, his estranged son Jamie (Wes Bentley), who is plotting against him, and a deadly disease that is affecting his cattle. Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly), John’s daughter and chief of staff, will have to face her nemesis Jamie, who wants to put her in jail, and her complicated relationship with Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser), the ranch foreman. Meanwhile, Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes), John’s son and former Navy SEAL, will have to balance his duties as a livestock commissioner and a father. And Monica Dutton (Kelsey Asbille), Kayce’s wife and a Native American activist, will have to cope with her trauma and her role in the community.
