After Gus and the hybrid children were able to escape from the captivity of the Last Men and put a stop to the nasty General Abbot, the next chapter of their story now begins. Because Gus now wants to find his mother Birdie (Amy Seimetz) under all circumstances. This is in Alaska and could be the key to creating a cure for the mysterious disease.
And so Gus, Big Man, Becky (Stefania LaVie Owen) and Wendy (Naledi Murray) set off for Alaska. The scientist Dr. Sing (Adeel Akhtar) also follows them, because he still wants to create a cure.
