The announcement of Wolverine to be seen in the third installment of Deadpool created a huge buzz among fans. Ever since Hugh Jackman was last seen in 2017 Logan announced that it would be the last time he played the role. But it looks like Deadpool 3 got the actor back in his iconic look as blades coming out from his hands. But will he be supporting Wade Wilson or killing him? Let’s find out.
Classic Wolverine Suit and Hugh Jackmen in Deadpool 3
Hugh Jackman one of the known actors in the entertainment world, is most popularly known for his X-Men character Wolverine aka Logan, who has a unique mutation of steel blades coming out of his hands. The actor has done many cameos and had an independent movie based on that character and this time he will be seen in the comic’s iconic yellow suit that, we nerds remember.
The character was gone through many changes from time to time but Hugh refused to do it anymore. In the Deadpool franchise, Wade has now and then given a little spoiler and sometimes a teaser that there is a teeny-tiny possibility that Hugh Jackman might be seen in his iconic role and this time it’s finally happening.
In the 2013, Wolverine movie towards the ending as Logan leaves Tokyo, the fans got a little taste of the yellow suit that we know from Stan’s comics the X-Men series. That scene may seem to be a little faded in viewers memory but the Deadpool director Shawn Levy and actor Ryan Reynold did not forget. Now the question that strikes our mind is whether- Will Hugh Jackman wears the suit or will he adorn his simple look? Apart from Jackman, Jennifer Garner is returning as Elektra in ‘DEADPOOL 3’
Why he doesn’t wear a suit?
In most of the movies or secondary characters in X-Men and X-Men- Last Stand, Wolverine is seen as casual wear or shirtless sometimes. This added a more relatable touch to the movies as Stan Lee mentioned in his documentary. The suits were just a part of the imagination but when it was brought to life it was made more realistic.
The Wolverine and Logan director James Mangold explained the suit’s absence by saying it’s too self-serving for Logan to don attention-grabbing colors. Indeed, after The Wolverine, Logan would have been even more ill-suited to introduce the suit.- according to Screenrant.
