Gray Matter, an original sci-fi thriller is set to premiere by Max, introducing a captivating story about a teenager and her mother who possess extraordinary powers. Prior to its release on July 13, Max has unveiled the official trailer for this highly anticipated film.
Gray Matter revolves around the intertwined lives of Aurora and her mother Ayla, who both harbor remarkable abilities. Initially bestowed upon Ayla, these powers are later inherited by Aurora. However, Ayla is determined not to let her daughter’s newfound capabilities go unchecked, dedicating herself to training Aurora in harnessing and controlling them.
Yet, a devastating accident occurs, thrusting Aurora into a realm of unprecedented self-determination, forcing her to confront her own history—an encounter she will find profoundly unsettling.

Unraveling the Dark Secrets: Aurora’s Perilous Journey of Discovery
While the trailer refrains from revealing the exact nature of the accident, it effectively captures the intensity and significance of Aurora’s extraordinary powers. In the first half, glimpses of Aurora’s impressive abilities are showcased, demonstrating that her mother has imparted substantial training. However, Aurora exhibits reluctance when it comes to displaying her powers before others, particularly within a seemingly restrictive facility where freedom of choice is scarce. This hesitation is perfectly understandable.
As the trailer progresses into its second half, a sense of foreboding takes hold. Aurora becomes increasingly aware that something is amiss with her mother, Ayla, yet acquiring genuine answers proves to be a challenging endeavor. Determined to uncover the truth, Aurora embarks on a personal investigation, only to discover the presence of far more unsettling forces at play.
