This week on the 39-anniversary of ‘Ghostbusters‘, the new poster of the horror-comedy movie is back with another exciting installment. The sequel to ‘Ghostbuster- Afterlife‘ will be more spookier and action-packed than ever. The 1984-originated movie has unveiled the poster for the upcoming movie that is set to be released this year. The poster released today is creating a huge stir among the fans.

The poster shows a no-Ghost sign which means another ride for the fans is awaiting. Another town is haunted by ghosts and ghostbusters are here to rescue.
Ghostbusters- Afterlife Sequel Revealed
The classic ‘Ghostbusters‘ logo is seen sketched in a cartoonish way. The ‘Ghost‘ of ‘Ghostbusters’ is featured in a banned symbol. What the poster shows is not a happy ghost but a little lord of chaos. It is a little spiky with ice and cold blow cold blows to freeze you. The poster shows a frozen entity. This gives us a little hint that the movie might come around Halloween or Christmas, this year.

Previously in ‘Afterlife‘, we saw that Callie was Egon’s granddaughter and her kids Phoebe and Trevor, were to takeover the next generation of Ghostbusters. In the post credit scene we saw that Ernie Hudson as Winston is returning the famous Echo-1 at their old firehouse headquarters in NYC. Its not certain that Ernie Hudson or Bill Murray will be seen back in the coming installment.
What can be expect from New ‘Ghostbusters‘
As a matter of fact, the plot of the movie is not yet revealed but it is referred as ‘Firehouse’. For the characters in the movie we can expect McKenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard, Carrie Coon, and Paul Rudd to be returing for their previous roles from ‘Afterlife‘. To add new flavor to the sequel we can expect Kumail Nanjiani, Patton Oswalt, James Acaster, and Emily Alyn Lind.

When is the new Ghostbuster Releasing
According to Collider, the ‘Ghostbusters’ film is set to be released on December 20, 2023. The movie is already in the process of shooting since March and is directed by Gil Kenan. Jason Reitman directed Afterlife, is also set to be returning as the co-producer and co-screenwriter. Ghostbusters fans keep calm, for it’s going to be a spooky and creepy release.
