Jennifer Garner is back in her iconic role as Elektra in the upcoming ‘Deadpool 3’. The 51-year-old actress will return to her superhero role 20 years later. She first played the assassin in ‘Daredevil’ (2003) and the spinoff ‘Elektra’ (2005).
‘Deadpool 3’ is an upcoming superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character, Deadpool. The movie starts with Ryan Reynolds as Wade Wilson/Deadpool along with Hugh Jackman, Morena Baccarin, Brianna Hildebrand, and Jennifer Garner. The third franchise from the movie is being directed by Shawn Levy and is all set to release on May 3, 2024, as part of Phase Five of MCU.

Elektra initially starts off as the love interest of Matt Murdock/Daredevil but her violent nature and mercenary lifestyle divides the duo. Elektra is an assassin of Greek Descent who wields a pair of Sai as her trademark weapon
In Daredevil (2003) she is introduced as an antagonist, an assassin hired to eliminate the film’s protagonist. However, as the story progresses, Her storyline becomes more complex and she finds it difficult to find the line between hero and villain.
Jennifer Garner takes center stage in Elektra as the conflicted anti-hero. She struggles between her past as a deadly assassin and her desire for redemption. Jennifer Garner’s portrayal of Elektra perfectly encapsulates the character’s physical prowess and emotional depth. Fans loved her as Elektra and are excited to see her return in Marvel’s upcoming.

Considering how the recent feedback has been for Marvel, they are hoping to win their fans back with Deadpool 3. The first and second movie from the franchise were an absolute hit and Marvel are hoping for the cycle to continue.

With the recent delays in movies due to the WGA strike, Deadpool 3 was one of the movies which was affected. Fans are hoping that the script hasn’t been rushed and they will get a movie worthy of the title of Deadpool.
