Set in a patriarchal time where women were taken as reproducing machines. Based on her 2018 novel of the same name, Women Talking by Miriam Tooes, this story tells the revealing tale of a group of women taking a stand for the first time in her life. In small towns in Bolivia, women are treated like prostitutes. They are drugged and later have scars all over their bodies. The film will be released this month.
