On the official Twitter account of the anime series “Tokyo Mew Mew New” it was announced that the second season will start airing on Japanese TV on April 4, 2023. You can check out a new teaser along with a new visual below in this article.

The second “Tokyo Mew Mew New” season is once again being directed by Takahiro Natori (“Aria the Benedizione”) at the Yumeta Company and Graphinica studios. Yuka Yamada (“Asteroid in Love”) again handles series composition, while Satoshi Ishino contributes character design.
The Japanese voice cast once again features Yuuki Tenma as Ichigo Momomiya, Mirai Hinata as Mint Aizawa, Ryouko Juuni as Lettuce Midorikawa and Rian Toda as Bu-Ling Huang. Yuuma Uchida (Megumi Fushiguro in “Jujutsu Kaisen”) voices the character Masaya Aoyama.
The twelve-episode first season of “Tokyo Mew Mew New” ran on Japanese television from July to September 2022. The series is available on HIDIVE with English subtitles.

The scientists of the Mew Project use the DNA of endangered species to create an unbeatable team of heroines endowed with amazing superhuman abilities. High school student Ichigo Momomiya finds that she has the abilities of an Iriomote cat.
