Will Yoda appear in The Mandalorian Season 3? In “The Book of “Boba Fett” Luke Skywalker gives the decisive hint for a return of the “Star Wars” favorite!
- In the third season of “The Mandalorian” we could expect the return of Master Yoda in a flashback.
- Luke has previously explained that Grogu is relearning his Jedi skills by reminiscing about his time in the Jedi Temple.
- We’ve already been shown a flashback to Grogu’s time in the Jedi Temple. More flashbacks may follow and include the Jedi Master.
Season 3 of The Mandalorian is expected to stream on Disney+ at the end of the year . Fans have been waiting for the new episodes about Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and Grogu, once known as Baby Yoda, for quite some time. Now the new “ The Mandalorian ” season could make fan wishes come true and show Baby Yoda and Yoda in a scene together!
Again for information: “The Mandalorian” takes place in the “Star Wars” chronology almost a decade after “Star Wars: Episode 6 – Return of the Jedi” and thus after Yoda’s death. But in ” The Book of Boba Fett ” the decisive hint as to how Yoda can still appear was provided – by Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) himself.
In a conversation with Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson), Luke is praised by her for teaching Grogu well. However, Luke replies that Grogu would rather remember his old training than Luke would actually teach Grogu new things.
Also, we are shown a flashback showing Grogu in the Jedi Temple during Order 66. In “The Mandalorian” Season 2, Ahsoka was able to find out that Grogu was being trained at the Jedi Temple around the same time as Ahsoka – by different Jedi Masters.
This opens up a number of doors for series creators in The Mandalorian Season 3 for surprising cameo appearances by popular Jedi Masters like Yoda (Frank Oz), Plo Koon, Aayla Secura, Mace Windu (Samuel L. Jackson) and Qui-Gon Jinn (Liam Neeson).
We know Grogu has had multiple masters, and the pre-flashback suggests more may follow. Also, Luke’s statement means that Grogu’s Jedi training could continue without Luke in season 3, through flashbacks and memories of his time as a padawan.
