The Mandalorian Season 3: Bo-Katan as villain? Set videos hint at villain role

Don't miss

Bo-Katan has his sights set on the Darksaber in The Mandalorian Season 3. Will she become a villain and stand against Din Djarin? A set video now shows her fighting a former friend.

  • The Mandalorian returns to Disney+ for Season 3 in February 2023.
  • Din Djarin travels to Mandalore with Bo-Katan Kryze, bringing the Darksaber with him.
  • Since Bo-Katan is after the Darksaber, she could stab Din in the back.

Clone Wars fans know Bo-Katan as the heroic Mandalorian, but in The Mandalorian Season 3, envy may lead her down a dark path. Bo-Katan finally goes after the Darksaber that Din Djarin took from Moff Gideon.

He has no real use for it, but Bo-Katan must acquire the sword in battle and not simply be given it in order to become the leader of the Mandalorians with the Darksaber.

What is certain is that season 3 of “The Mandalorian” will take us to Mandalore, where it will probably initially be up to Din to get the Mandalorian clans to work together. Bo-Katan and Ax Woves will also be in attendance, and a set video now reveals that Bo-Katan and Ax will clash.

It remains unclear who is attacking whom and for what reasons. Ax Woves trying to stop Bo-Katan for opposing Din Djarin? Or does Ax have evil intentions himself, although he has always served House Kryze faithfully? It’s unlikely that The Mandalorian would permanently tarnish the heroic Bo-Katan’s image, but her goal is to possess the Darksaber, and there’s no way she can avoid a fight with Din Djarin to do so.

In February 2023, “The Mandalorian” Season 3 will start in the New Releases program of Disney+. A first trailer for the new episodes was already shown during the Star Wars Celebration and should also be published online soon. Bo-Katan’s betrayal, if it occurs, is not shown in it yet.
