The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart Season 1 Episode 3 answered the questions from the previous episode. The miniseries which is based on the novel ‘The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart’ follows the life of a young girl named Alice Hart. 

Alyla Browne plays the role of a young Alice in the show, alongside Academy Award Winner Susan Alexandra ‘Sigourney’ Weaver, who is her grandmother, June Hart. Alycia Debnam-Carey,  Asher Keddie, Leah Purcell, and Charlie Vickers are among others, who are part of the cast of The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart.

The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart Season 1 Episode 3: No More Lies

After being lied about everything, Alice has an explosive breakdown. She is very angry with her grandmother June Hart for lying to her about her mother, Agnes. June does tell Alice that her mother was an orphan and came to her when she was young. She tells her how Agnes and Clem fell in love. 

June pens down a heart-touching letter to Alice, asking her that she will tell him all she needs to know, once she finds her lost voice. 

An emotionless John is questioning his wife about everything between her and Clem. Like Alice, he too is devastated and tells Sally that Gemma is not his family anymore. John also decides to leave Sally. With no choice left, Sally decides to move forward with getting custody of Alice.

The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart Season 1 Episode 3: Alice Lost in Thorfield

Alice slowly starts opening up more and more. She becomes more active at the farm, helping her grandmother and the flowers. With more time she spends at Thorfield, she keeps having more visions about her mother. 

Meanwhile, Sally has decided to take into her own hands the custody battle of Alice. John decides to move into Gemma’s room till he can find a place for him. Sally sets out to look for Thornfield after multiple attempts to contact June Hart fail. 

The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart Season 1 Episode 3: Reunion

Sally finally manages to find Thornfield and begs June to let her talk to Alice. June refuses and Sally makes her an offer. She wants the best for Alice and asks June to let Alice decides between her and Sally. 

After school, they wait for Alice. Alice upon seeing Sally immediately gets flashbacks of the events from the past. A heartbroken Sally breaks down in her car having lost everything dear to her (Alice, Gemma, and John).

The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart Season 1 Episode 3: More Lies

June receives a call from the hospital. Her grandson in fact is not dead. The premature baby managed to survive the fire. June is now in a dilemma as she is afraid to have another little boy grow up on the farm, as it reminds her of Clem and everything that went wrong.

Meanwhile, Alice has managed to find back her voice. She demands answers about her family but June continues weaving a web of deceit to hide the painful and shame-filled past. The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart Season 1 Episode 3 had its fair share of twists and turns. Hopefully, Alice gets the answers to all her questions.
