The Idolmaster Million Live! Is an upcoming anime series that is based on ‘The Idolmaster’ videogame franchise. The anime television series is being adapted by Shirogumi while A-1 Pictures, the studio behind Mashle: Magic and Muscles and Eromanga Sensei will be animating the series.
The Idolmaste series primarily focuses on the career of a producer who works with a group of prospective pop idols at the talent agency 765 Production. The anime series was announced during the Theater Days 3rd Anniversary livestream. Fans can now rejoice as a release date has been confirmed and The Idolmaster Million Live! is all set to release on October 8, 2023.
Along with the television show, The Idolmaster Million Live! has been released theatrically, with the final part set to release from September 29 to October 19.
What to expect in The Idolmaster Million Live!?
The Idolmaster Million Live! Includes 37 idols, working alongside the 13 idols of 765 Production. Compared to other spin-offs, the new idols will work with and interact with the idols of 765. Apart from this, most of the plot from the series is being kept under wrap by A-1 Pictures.
A recurring theme in the series is the struggle an idol must go through to achieve stardom. Also, we can see the idols’ relationships and rivalry with other production studios being adapted into the anime series.
