The God Of High School Season 2 Release Date, News, Story, and Trailer

Don't miss

This is what you need to know about the second season of God Of High School, including the release date, trailer, story, and other news.

Anime is usually adapted from manga or light novels, or sometimes created from scratch. But most of the time, the setting is inspired by Japan.

That’s why 2020 was a big year for South Korea, as three of their popular Webtoon titles got their own anime adaptations. They were Tower of God, The God of High School, and Noblesse.

Among these titles, The God of High School was the only one that was widely available on different platforms. It premiered in July 2020 on Crunchyroll and Muse Asia.

The series received a lot of acclaim for its amazing fight scenes in the first episode. The animation quality was also impressive, earning the anime a nomination for Best Animation in the 5th Crunchyroll Anime Awards.

But does that mean we will get a second season?

The God of High School Season 2 Release Date

Sadly, no official confirmation is that this anime will get a second season. The official GOHS Twitter account has been inactive since March 2021.

In the 5th Crunchyroll Anime Awards, they were also nominated for best fight scene and best score. With these awards under their belt, the anime might have a chance to get renewed for season 2.

We will update this article as soon as we get any news about the series.

The God Of High School Story

This is a summary of the amazing story of The God Of High School, a webtoon and anime series that follows the adventures of Jin Mori, a young martial artist who loves Taekwondo.

Jin Mori receives an invitation to join the God of High School tournament, where he can compete with other talented High School students from all over Korea. He is eager to prove his skills and have fun in the process.

On his way to the first round, he meets two other contestants who become his friends: Yu Mira, a swordswoman who inherited the Moon Light Sword Style from her ancestors, and Han Daewi, a karate fighter who fights for his sick friend.

They soon discover that the tournament is not just a simple test of strength. The organizers have a hidden motive: they are looking for someone who possesses the “key”, a mysterious power that can change the world.

Meanwhile, Jin Mori’s grandfather, Jin Taejin, who is also a legendary martial artist and Jin Mori’s mentor, is captured by Nox, a secret cult that worships gods and opposes the tournament. They want to use Jin Taejin as bait to lure out Jin Mori and take his key.

Jin Mori learns about this and becomes determined to win the tournament and rescue his grandfather. However, he faces many challenges along the way. He has to deal with powerful enemies who use Charyeok, supernatural abilities borrowed from ancient gods and mythical beings. He also has to face his own destiny as the reincarnation of Sun Wukong, the Monkey King.

The climax of the story happens when Jegal Taek, one of the finalists and a ruthless Charyeok user who wants to become a god himself, goes berserk and attacks everyone in sight. Nox also intervenes and causes chaos in the arena.

Jin Mori and his friends manage to stop Jegal Taek with their teamwork and courage. Jin Mori unleashes his full potential as Sun Wukong and defeats him with his signature move: Renewal Taekwondo’s Blue Dragon Kick.

Jin Mori is declared as the winner of The God Of High School tournament. He has a chance to make any wish come true with his prize. However, instead of wishing for his grandfather’s freedom or anything else for himself, he chooses to heal all the injuries and damages caused by Jegal Taek’s rampage.

This shows how kind-hearted and selfless Jin Mori is. He values friendship more than anything else. He also respects martial arts as a way of life rather than a tool for violence.

The God Of High School is an epic story that combines action, comedy, drama and fantasy elements. It showcases different styles of martial arts and cultures from around the world. It also explores themes such as friendship, loyalty, family, honor and destiny.

If you are looking for an exciting and inspiring story that will make you laugh, cry and cheer at every turn, you should definitely check out The God Of High School!

The God Of High School Season 2 Hopes

The God of Highschool is an action-packed anime series based on a popular webtoon by YongJe Park. It premiered on July 2020 on Crunchyroll and Webtoon. Season one of GOHS covers 112 chapters of the webtoon series.

The anime’s first season follows Jin Mori, a high school student who loves martial arts and participates in a tournament called The God of High School. There, he meets other fighters with different styles and abilities and mysterious organizations with their own agendas. The anime mixes martial arts with supernatural elements and mythology, creating a thrilling and epic story.

The anime’s last episode ends with a cliffhanger that leaves many questions unanswered. If the anime follows the storyline of the webtoon, the next season will cover the Ragnarok arc.

Ragnarok is a war between humans and gods that threatens to destroy the world. Jin Mori and his friends have to join forces with other fighters to stop Nox, an evil cult that wants to summon gods and wipe out humanity. They will discover more secrets about their origins and powers along the way.

Currently, there is no official confirmation about the second season of The God of High School anime. However, some hints suggest it might happen soon.

First of all, the webtoon is still ongoing and has over 500 chapters so far. This means there is plenty of source material for more seasons. Secondly, the anime was well-received by fans and critics alike, earning positive reviews and ratings. It also won several awards at Crunchyroll’s Anime Awards 2021 for Best Fight Scene (Jin Mori vs Jegal Taek), Best Animation (MAPPA), Best Director (Seong-hu Park), and Best Score (Arisa Okehazama). Thirdly, Crunchyroll has been promoting The God of High School through various events and merchandise, showing their support for the series.

We hope that these factors will convince Crunchyroll and MAPPA to renew The God of High School for another season soon. We can’t wait to see more amazing fights and adventures from Jin Mori and his friends!

We’ll update this blog post once we get any news about The God of High School Season 2.
