After months of waiting, the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie was released in Japan. Only a few days after the theatrical release, the first spoilers from the film are already being shared on social media. Since we already knew the movie would be about Gohan and his teacher Piccolo, moviegoers were not disappointed after seeing the action-packed film in theaters.

Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama had previously confirmed in an interview that Gohan has the potential to become the strongest fighter in the world and that there is no one better than Piccolo who can motivate Gohan to reach his true potential. Japanese fans have been looking forward to Son Gohan’s new transformation, and they weren’t disappointed. Before we go any further, it’s worth pointing out that there will be spoilers about the film.

The film leaks came from @dbschronicles on Twitter, which is known as a reliable source for spoilers about the Dragon Ball franchise. The first images of Gohan’s new transformation were also shared by the same account. The name of the transformation is Final Gohan and below you can see the modified image to better show off the design.

Son Gohan’s New transformation

As you can see from the picture, this is a transformation never seen before in the Dragon Ball franchise. The Final Gohan Transformation has silver hair and bright red eyes. He is also reportedly surrounded by a Super Saiyan aura. Gohan achieves this form after battling the film’s final protagonist.

The film does not explain what the “Final Gohan” form is and whether other demi-Saiyajins can achieve it through training. It is also not confirmed if we will ever see this form in the future anime series. The Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie takes place between the events of Dragon Ball Super: Broly and the Dragon Ball Moro arc.

Crunchyroll has said it will release the film worldwide later this year, but an exact date has not yet been confirmed.
