San-young and Hae-sang Race Against Time to Uncover the Killer in Revenant

Hae-sang deduces that his mother possessed all the cursed pieces before burying them to stop the spirit. San-young visits him, returning his debit card and repaying him using her grandmother’s inheritance. This makes Hae-sang wonder how and why she took his card and whether she was recently possessed by the evil spirit.

At the police station, Hong-sae argues with Mun-chun and refuses to pursue leads in the suicide case. He becomes intrigued by his colleague’s case involving the influencer’s death, as he was present at the crime scene. Believing he has a lead, Hong-sae begins his investigation.

Meanwhile, San-young takes a break and stays at her grandmother’s house. The evil spirit guides her to undiscovered photographs, leading her to a local camera shop. There, she finds a picture of a painting and begins researching its story, uncovering information about hungry ghosts.

On the other side, Hae-sang heads to the location where the influencer woman was murdered. Hong-sae encounters him there and urges him to leave the crime scene. However, Hae-sang warns Hong-sae about the existence of hungry ghosts and their propensity to continue killing people. Initially skeptical, Hong-sae decides to investigate similar cases and discovers that Hae-sang was correct about the similarities. This prompts Hong-sae to visit Hae-sang to discuss their findings.

Meanwhile, San-young also visits Hae-sang to share her discoveries. However, when she hears Hae-sang mention the hungry ghosts, she remains silent. Hong-sae proposes that the killer must have been present among them during the wedding celebration. San-young realizes that both the bride, Yoonjung, and Semi are missing in all the pictures. Urgently, San-young and Hae-sang rush to find Semi, while Hong-sae sets out to gather rational evidence, still skeptical of their ghost stories.

San-young confides in Hae-sang about how the evil spirit guided her to uncover information about the hungry ghosts. Perplexed but determined, the duo embarks on a search for Semi, believing she is the ghost that the evil spirit intended for San-young to find. San-young locates Semi with Yoonjung at a restaurant and utilizes a mirror to identify the hungry ghost. To her surprise, it turns out to be Yoonjung. Yoonjung retreats to the ladies’ restroom and begins targeting a girl.

Fortunately, San-young intervenes and helps Yoonjung regain her senses. Yoonjung panics and flees, only to be struck by a car. She is subsequently admitted to the hospital and remains in a stunned state. Concerned for San-young’s safety, Hae-sang decides to search for the objects of the evil spirit alone.
