For the first time, we reported last year that the anime adaptation “Record of Ragnarok” is getting a second season (Record of Ragnarok Season 2). Now it has been revealed that the battle between humans and gods will continue in the coming year. In keeping with the announcement, a new visual was presented.

At the present time, one holds back with concrete information. At the upcoming Anime Expo, which is scheduled to take place in July 2022, they plan to announce more news. What is certain, however, is that the anime will continue on Netflix in 2023.

The first season of the anime series premiered in mid-June 2021 on streaming provider Netflix. Masao Ookubo (Onegai My Melody Yū & Ai, Gekijōban PriPara: Mi~nna de Kagayake! Kirarin Star Live) directed at Studio Graphinica. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Bungo Stray Dogs Wan!, By the Grace of the Gods) took care of the series composition, while Masaki Saito contributed the character designs. The music was composed by Yasuharu Takanashi (Fairy Tail, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations). The opening “Kamigami” came from Maximum the Hormone. The ending “Fukahi” sang SymaG.

Record of Ragnarok: Manga has been published since 2017

“Record of Ragnarok” has been published in Japan since November 2017 in the “Comic Zenon” magazine. So far, the series comprises 14 volumes. In addition to the main series, there is also a spinoff manga entitled “Ryo Fu Hō Sen Hishōden” (English: “The Legend of Lu Bu Fengxiang The Flying General”). This has been published in Japan since October 2019.
