The newest Netflix series Nineteen to Twenty explores the transition from being a teenager on the verge of maturity to eventually reaching that milestone in one’s life. It reveals a number of firsts that the 10 participants on their journey together experienced. The independence that comes with moving from School 19 to House 20 is undoubtedly one of the benefits, but tensions have also increased as a result of the loosening of constraints.
The fresh day helps the young adults calm down after heartbreaking hiccups and complications. While several couples reconcile, including Ye-rin and Ji-min, Jung-yun is adamant that he does not want to pressure Ji-woo to like him if she has already made up her mind to like Se-yeon. In the middle of all that stress, Pyeong-seok and Hee-ji once more maintain their composure and set off on yet another self-planned date as the former displays his adorable and dependable driving abilities. Let’s see how things are between the love birds of the show.
Nineteen to Twenty: Seo-Yeong’s dream date turns out to be a nightmare
Sang-won is compelled to openly converse with Seo-Hyeon by his mounting impatience. The incident where Seo-yeong confessed her affection for him to him during their “Dream Date” is also brought up during this chat. He was unaware at the time that Seo-yeong had been in the back dressing room the entire time and had heard everything he had to say to his friend Seo-Hyeon, who looked to her for advice. The MCs’ response once the shocking narrative twist is revealed is accurate to how you probably would have responded in the same circumstances.
Although there was no deliberate plot against either of them, the circumstances just led to this outcome, leaving Seo-yeong upset with Sang-won’s treatment of her sentiments and words and Seo-hyeon’s response, despite his good intentions. They eventually fix the matter on the spot after having a conversation, and Seo-yeong once again shows herself to be a mature contender who can manage her emotions under pressure.
Nineteen to Twenty: New dream dates bring new opportunities
Everybody is competing to move ahead and get the opportunity when new dream dates are offered. Ji-min and Hye-rin, Pyeong-seok and Hee-ji, and Ji-woo and Jung-yun are the three pairs that step forward. Ji-min and Hye-rin take the lead and decide to go to Jeju, while Jung-yun and Ji-woo win their spot for glamping as the runners-up. The three pairs are eager to take the chance to either travel to Jeju or enjoy a night of glamping, so they decide to settle the dispute with a game of rock, paper, and scissors.
Se-yeon, on the other hand, wrestles with his emotions and tries to come to terms with the fact that he has essentially been standing outside, watching Ji-woo and Jung-yun get closer to one another.
We can’t wait to see how the season’s final ends with all the confusion and tough emotions between the class of Nineteen to twenty on Netflix.
