Boruto: New episodes for the anniversary
Already on March 26, 2023, with episode 293, the last new episode of “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” for the time being will be broadcast on Japanese television. This is to conclude “Part I” of the series before the anime returns with “Part II” at an as yet undisclosed later date.
At the same time, it has been confirmed that the original “Naruto” anime will return to Japanese television with select episodes beginning in July 2023 as part of its 20th anniversary. As a special highlight, four completely new episodes are scheduled to premiere in September 2023.
The 220-episode first “Naruto” series launched in October 2002, followed by the 500-episode sequel “Naruto Shippuden” in February 2007, and the 290-episode spin-off “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” to date has been available since April 2017.
