This manga series is not about a superhero like Summoned To Another World For A Second Time or THE 7 DEADLY SINS: GRUDGE OF EDINBURGH but about a father who wants to protect his family which is My Home Hero.
When it comes to family, a father, and a husband can go to any extent to protect their family. This manga series has an intense story that tells a father’s feelings when his daughter is being treated like filth and now is being treated as an ATM machine for pleasure. He gives the boy a lesson to remember by killing him but now has to face the consequences.

My Home Hero Season 2: Mark Your Calendar
Season 2 is not announced at the moment but is coming soon in 2024. The date will be announced soon, so stay tuned.
My Home Hero Season 1: Plot
The anime centers on Tetsuo Tosu, a simple-minded middle-class man who learns that his daughter Reika is in an abusive relationship. Although Tosu is the manager of a local toy company, he likes to read and write mystery novels. After seeing Reika emotionally and physically drained by her boyfriend Nobuto, Tosu decides to put her daughter out of her misery. Nobuto is a kind of serial killer who murders his girlfriends after stealing a lot of money from them.

Tosu’s chosen path is not traditional but is influenced by mystery novels and her husband Kasen. His father runs a local cult, but Kasen tries to stay out of their affairs as much as possible. But now he is actively looking for methods to brutally torture and kill his father. The Tosu couple plans the perfect murder without any loopholes in their strategy. They manage to assassinate Nobuto and hide his body but fail to investigate the one loosehead – Nobuto’s father, Yoshitatsu Mator. He is the head of a deadly yakuza (criminal syndicate) and Nobuto was his only son. Now Matori vows revenge on Tetsuo, who is trying his best to protect his daughter from this turbulent mess.
My Home Hero Season 2: What To Expect
At the end of Season 1 of My Home Hero, Tetsuo and Matori face each other in a physical battle. As the two men wrestle at each other’s throats, Matori realizes Tetsuo’s true intentions and faults. While Tetsuo crossed boundaries and stabbed people to save his daughter, Matori blindly sought revenge, regardless of everything and everyone around him. It was a source of pride for him. Matori stabs herself out of guilt, leaving Tosu’s family alone. After burying Mator’s body, Tetsuo finally returns to his normal life.

Since the anime did not leave a cliffhanger, My Home Hero Season 2 is shrouded in uncertainty. It is possible that Kamei will take over the remaining chapters of the manga and feature Reika becoming a scientist. This would jeopardize Tetsuo’s carefully constructed lies and threaten to destroy their relationship. However, nothing can be said for sure yet.
