My Happy Marriage Episode 2- Recap
The second episode of My Happy Marriage starts and the first episode was concluded. Miyo is smitten by the beauty of Kudo and Kudo speaks to her like a commander on the field to keep distance from him. He commands her to stay as he says and die if he says and Miyo without asking why and when says- ‘As you say.’ She is given a beautiful room, quite spacious.
Miyo is engrossed in her thoughts and as she falls asleep she sees her past as a child with Kaya. She dreams of the day when her father and stepsister are in a dimly lighted room that is ignited with candles and Miyo’s father wants to know who can control spirits or sees one. As he opens the box Kaya is terrified by something which means that she can see spirits. So this makes Miyo’s father happy and talk of the town that Miyo is just an ordinary girl despite her family background.
As Miyo wakes from the dream, she prepares breakfast for Kudo, and Miss Yuri, the caretaker of the house, is happy and surprised that Miyo took such pains. She helps Miyo with the meal and as Kudo is about to eat, he asks Miyo to taste it and she is surprised. Kudo shrugs her off saying that it is poison and that’s why she is not having it. Miyo is unhappy that she disobeyed his order as Kudo walks out of the room.
Later Miyo welcomes him at home and apologizes for any disobedience created by her and Kudo walks past her saying that she should not apologize, it’s his mistake.
The next morning Kudo eats the breakfast prepared by Miyo and appreciates it and Miyo is overwhelmed with tears. She is appreciated for the first time in so many years that she can’t resist and just teared up. Kudo is a little suspicious about why she behaves and lives like a servant whereas girls her age are in the full bloom of youth. He asks Yuri to investigate her household.
