Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation News
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation fans have a lot to look forward to, as the author of the series, Rifujin na Magonote, has announced that a sequel is in the works.
The sequel will take place 80 years after the original series and will feature a new story in the same world of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation. Magonote has said that he will start working on the sequel after the anime adaptation and the light novel series ‘Orc Eiyuu Monogatari: Sontaku Retsuden’ are finished.
The sequel will not directly continue Rudeus‘ story, but a spin-off with different characters and events. Magonote tweeted to a fan: “It will be the story of ‘Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation’ 80 years later. The start date will depend on when the anime adaptation and the serialization of ‘Orc Eiyuu Monogatari: Sontaku Retsuden’ light novels end, maybe in 3-8 years? Also, I don’t plan to write this story as a sequel to ‘Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation’.”
