On the official Twitter account of the anime series “Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury” (jap.: “Kidou Senshi Gundam: Suisei no Majo”), it was announced that the second season will air on Japanese TV starting April 9, 2023.

The second season of “Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury” is being directed by Hiroshi Kobayashi (“Dragonflyer”) at Studio Sunrise. Ichirou Ookouchi (“Heavy Object”) is penning the script, while Marie Tagashira and Hirotoshi Takaya are responsible for character design.
The twelve-episode first season of the mecha series aired on Japanese television from October 2022 to January 2023 and is available on-demand here in the original Japanese dubbed version with English subtitles on Crunchyroll.
The series is based on an original story for the first time since “Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans” in 2015 and follows a female lead for the first time in the “Gundam” franchise with the character Suletta Mercury voiced by Kana Ichinose (Sayu in “HigeHiro”).
