Mononogatari Season 2 Trailer
As of now, there is no official trailer for Mononogatari Season 2. However, we can expect one to be released soon, maybe in June or early July. Mononogatari Season 2 Plot
Mononogatari Season 2 will continue the story of Kunato Hyouma and Nagatsuki Botan, two Saenome clan members who can send tsukumogami back to their world. Tsukumogami are spirits that possess old objects and gain physical forms. They can be friendly or hostile, depending on their nature and history.
Hyouma hates tsukumogami because one of them killed his parents when he was young. He is sent to live with Botan in Kyoto by his grandfather, who hopes that she can change his attitude and teach him how to deal with tsukumogami peacefully. Botan loves tsukumogami because one of them saved her life when she was a child. She is kind and gentle, but also strong and determined.
Together, they encounter various tsukumogami and try to help them or stop them from causing trouble. Along the way, they also learn more about each other and themselves, as well as the secrets of their clan and their world.
Mononogatari Season 2 will adapt more chapters from Onigunsou’s manga, which has been running since 2014 and has 15 volumes so far. Shueisha publishes the manga in Ultra Jump magazine and Shonen Jump+ app. The first season covered up to volume 6 of the manga, so we can expect the second season to cover up to volume 10 or 11.
