Japanese publisher KADOKAWA announced today that the Isekai novella “I’ll Become a Villainess That Will Go Down in History” (jap.: “Rekishi ni Nokoru Akujo ni Naru zo”) will be adapted as an anime series. You can check out a visual for the announcement further down in this article.

The original light novel of the same name was penned by Izumi Ookido and has been published in Japan since August 2019 with illustrations by Jun Hayase. Publisher KADOKAWA will release the fifth volume in the series in Japanese stores on August 12, 2023.
A manga adaptation by Akari Hoshi, currently comprising three volumes, has been published in the shoujo magazine “B’s-LOG Comic” since May 2020. The fourth volume will also be released in Japanese bookstores on August 12, 2023. Both works are not yet available in English.
