The webcomic covers more events and stories that happen after Hori and Miyamura’s graduation, such as their marriage and parenthood.

Horimiya Season 2 Plot

Horimiya Season 2 (Horimiya: Piece) Featuring stories from the manga not adapted in the main anime.

Horimiya is a popular romance anime series that follows the lives of Kyoko Hori and Izumi Miyamura, two high school students who have different personas at school and at home. The first season of the anime, which aired in 2021, adapted the entire manga series by Daisuke Hagiwara, which was based on a webcomic by Hero. The anime ended with Hori and Miyamura graduating from high school and confessing their love for each other.

However, fans of Horimiya may be wondering if there will be a second season of the anime that continues their story. According to official sources, a second anime series, Horimiya: Piece, will premiere in July 2023. The plot of this series is unknown, but it may adapt some of the content from the webcomic that was not covered by the manga or the first anime season. The webcomic, which is still ongoing, shows more events after Hori and Miyamura’s graduation, such as their marriage and their son Kyouhei Miyamura.

Alternatively, the second anime series may create an original story that follows Hori and Miyamura’s relationship after high school. This would require the involvement of the original author, Hero, or the approval of CloverWorks, the studio that produced the first anime season.

In any case, Horimiya: Piece would be a treat for fans who want to see more of Hori and Miyamura’s sweet and funny romance. The first anime season was well-received by critics and viewers alike for its charming characters, realistic portrayal of teenage issues, and heartwarming moments. The second anime season would hopefully capture the same spirit and deliver a satisfying conclusion to their story.
