This may be the opportunity you’ve been looking for if you’re a fan of Heartstopper and an aspiring actress.
Season two of Heartstopper is currently casting!
The coming-of-age Netflix drama’s first season was such a smash hit that it has been renewed for two more seasons, with production slated to begin later this year.
Heartstopper, starring Kit Connor as Nick Nelson and Joe Locke as Charlie Spring, is the story of a rugby player and his classmate who fall in love and start a covert relationship but are obliged to keep it a secret because Nick hasn’t come out yet.
Even though it’s an emotional rollercoaster, the program, which is based on Alice Oseman’s graphic books, has amassed millions of admirers all over the world.

Casting directors have revealed that they’re seeking for someone to fill an intriguing new position as season 2 filming rapidly approaches.
An statement was made on social media that the popular Netflix (The Vampire Diaries Season 9) series is looking to expand its cast.
Heartstopper has been given two more seasons, and based on the casting notice, it appears that season two of the show will begin filming this fall.
The casting for Heartstopper season 2 has begun in search of Sahar Zahid.
A casting call for See-Saw Films appeared on Instagram yesterday (July 8), with the following text: “Open casting for Heartstopper season 2. Casting for the character of Sahar Zahid, who will be 16 years old (actor must be at least 16 years old).”
The character is of Arabian ethnicity in the original graphic novel, authored by Alice Oseman, and enjoys wearing her hair up in a ponytail. She is also the best friend of Truham Grammar School classmates Elle, Aled, Tara, Nick, Darcy, Charlie, and Tao.
It is important to remember that they are primarily seeking for someone with a UK address. That is necessary.
You must also be at least 16 years old and have the ability to play 16 as additional prerequisites. They are looking for a plus-sized actor that identifies as feminine or non-binary and has British South Asian ancestry.
For those who don’t know, Sahar is an 11-year-old student at Higgs and is described as straightforward, independent, and occasionally cynical.

In other Heartstopper news, Kit Connor, who plays Nick Nelson, recently shared his expectations for upcoming episodes.
In terms of what he would like to see for Nick, he said: “I guess simply the development of Nick and Charlie’s bond. We see a lot of young love and the start of their relationship in season one.
The actor continued, “And I think that it would be amazing, you know – not just to act – as well simply to witness, as well, their connection just, sort of, develop stronger and blossom.”
“I think that it’s really fantastic, really, to be able to do a show like Heartstopper at the age of 17,” the actor said of the LGBTQ+ program’s widespread success. It has been more than touching to witness some of the responses to witnessing some of the impacts that it has had on people’s life; to be honest, it has been very emotional.
“So, you know, it’s really fantastic to see different things like people using the scenario to come out to their parents. There are never enough openly happy LGBTQ folks to watch. We must do that because it is crucial.
The casting directors made it clear that Sahar is the only part they would be casting through open auditions, adding that any candidates must be available starting in the fall of 2022, implying that filming will begin soon!
As stated in the casting call, “Needless to say, we would like to ensure performers from the LGBTQIA+ community are encouraged to apply along with allies to our community,” Heartstopper has received accolades for its true LGBTQ+ depiction and for casting a majority of LGBTQ+ actors.
Therefore, if Sahar sounds like the right part for you, email the casting team while including a headshot and some biographical details. Who knows, maybe we’ll catch you on TV next year.
