On the official Twitter account of the fantasy series “Goblin Slayer” it was announced that the second season will be aired on Japanese TV from October 2023. You can watch a new trailer for it further down in this article.

“Goblin Slayer II” will be directed by directed by Misato Takada at the studio LIDENFILMS. Hideyuki Kurata (“Made in Abyss“) is once again handling series composition, while Hiromi Katou (“Monster Girl Doctor”) is responsible for character design.
The new opening theme is contributed by Japanese band Mili and the ending song by singer Yuki Nakashima.
The original light novel series was penned by Kumo Kagyuu and has been published in Japan since February 2016 with illustrations by Noboru Kannatsuki.

Storyline
In a world threatened by monsters and demons, a young priestess joins the “Adventurer’s Guild”. Her first mission takes her to a goblin cave, where she is ambushed. At the last second, the Goblin Slayer comes to her rescue. A taciturn warrior who has made it his mission to exterminate all goblins.
