A teaser trailer for the final part of ‘Fear The Walking Dead’ is here and it reveals another character’s return to the long-running spinoff to ‘The Walking Dead’ which is based on the comic book by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard. The trailer revealed that Victor Strand was alive during the seven years between seasons 7 and 8 and will make a comeback in the final episodes of the show.
Fear The Walking Dead happens in the same universe as ‘The Walking Dead’ and focuses on the early days of the zombie apocalypse. Season 7 of the show concluded in 2021 with the introduction of several new characters, including Teddy (John Glover) who brings the nuclear fallout. Eighth Season features nine actors from the previous season and continues the storyline 7 years later.
Return of Victor Strand
Victor Strand aka Strand (Colman Domingo) until season 6 was the protagonist of the show, tho from time to time he revealed his villainous tendencies. However, he clashes with Morgan Jones (Lennie James) as both have different philosophies.
Strand’s return to the final episodes can result in his conflict with the characters June (Jenna Elfman) and Daniel (Ruben Baldeds). Strand will also be reunited with Madison (Kim Dickens) as the pair have known each other for a long time.
Madison is likely to take Victor as an ally but it is unclear how the rest of the group will connect with Viktor after knowing his past. Regardless, heads are gonna clash between them as they try to tackle challenges at PADRE island in the final episodes of Fear The Walking Dead.
Fear The Walking Dead: The Story So Far
*spoilers ahead for Fear The Walking Dead: Season 8*
Morgan who has descended back into insanity after losing Grace, manages to escape the train car and teams up with Madison, Daniel, and his gang to stop PADRE’s expansion. With too many walkers around, the group head towards Morgan’s houseboat but Shrike discovers that her father has the coordinates they need. Morgan finds Mo at the houseboat and while trapped together, he reveals that he gave up Mo in a similar situation seven years ago.
After helping Mo escape, Morgan is rescued by Madison. Shirke is attacked by Krennick who crawls out of the swamp before Madison kills him. The group then convinces Ben and Prefects to surrender and June allows Ben to euthanize his sister before banishing from the PADRE. After Finch’s death, Dwight and Sherry call it quits while Madison plans on carrying out her plans for PADRE.
An unknown listener is seen listening to the radio messages by Madison. Morgan comes to peace with what has happened and buries Grace by Eastman’s cabin and returns to Alexandria with Mo to find Rick Grimes.
