What is the status of Fastest Finger First Season 2’s renewal? Will we ever get to see it?
One of the many anime shows with a game and educational concept is Fastest Finger First. Fastest Finger First shares the same idea as Gamers but lacks any romance whatsoever. There is first a little indication of romance, but nothing particularly spectacular happens and it doesn’t go anywhere.
In actuality, Fastest Finger First mostly tells the tale of Shiki Koshiyama, who is lured into the intense world of competitive quizzes by his classmate Mari Fukami.
Fastest Finger First began life as a Japanese manga series entitled Nana Maru San Batsu in Japanese created by Iqura Sugimoto. Since November 4, 2010, it has been serialized in the seinen manga publication Young Ace by Kadokawa Shoten. After 20 volumes, it came to an end on October 2, 2020.
Interesting fact: two live-action stage plays based on the manga have been produced, and a third will debut in January 2021.
Fastest Finger First Season 2 Renewal Status
Later, TMS Entertainment, a studio well-known in the community for its well-received anime releases including Dr. Stone, ReLIFE, Rent A Girlfriend, and last but not least, Orange, turned the manga series into an anime. Although Fastest Finger First isn’t as well-known as other anime, it certainly did a tremendous job of winning over many of the fans.
Fastest Finger First is a 2017 anime series that debuted on July 5 and ran for twelve episodes before ending on September 20. Many fans are eager for a sequel to the first season because they want to see how the plot develops. What is the current status of Fastest Finger Season 2’s renewal?
As of this writing, neither the author nor the studio has commented on Fastest Finger First Season 2. Fortunately, it hasn’t been canceled either, though we’re not sure if the season will be renewed or not.
Will Fastest Finger First Season 2 be feasible?
Many of the fans are unsure whether or not Fastest Finger First Season 2 would be conceivable because of its current whereabouts, which are still unknown. Sadly, it is best to assume that Faster Finger First Season 2 won’t be made available.
The source, which is the manga, has already ended in the 20th volume, which is the main cause. The majority of adaptations are created to increase BD sales and to publicize the source. There is no purpose in creating a new season if the supplier has already stopped selling.
Needless to mention, although having a respectable run, Fastest Finger First didn’t quite live up to everyone’s expectations, earning an average score of 6.67 from the 70k members of MyAnimeList.
Although the studio would have more than enough of them in terms of source material to create a season renewal. Only the first six volumes of the manga series—roughly thirty-three chapters—were covered in the first season. Around twelve of the volumes have not yet been adopted. If they wanted to, they could easily produce one or two additional seasons with the material they already have.
Given the aforementioned facts, it is reasonable to infer that Fastest Finger First Season 2 will not air. Yet once more, it all comes down to the author and TMS Entertainment. In the case that a sequel is announced in the future, we will be sure to let you guys know.
